Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this bottle to track my daily water intake?
Yes. The bottle has molded ounce and milliliter markings along the side, so you can see exactly how much you have drunk and how much you have left throughout the day.
Is a half gallon the right size for a daily hydration goal?
Many wellness experts recommend around 64 ounces of water per day as a baseline, so this bottle is designed to match that target with a single fill.
Will it help me drink more water at the gym?
Having a large, visible bottle with measurement markings is a proven motivator. You can see your progress in real time, which encourages consistent sipping between sets.
Does cold water actually help with workout recovery?
Cold water can help regulate body temperature during and after exercise. The 10-hour cold retention keeps your water at a refreshing temperature through long gym sessions and recovery windows.
Is this good for a 30-day hydration challenge?
Yes. The 64oz capacity and clear measurement markings make it easy to set a daily goal and track your progress for a 30-day or longer wellness challenge.
Can I use it for pre-workout hydration rituals?
Many athletes drink 16 to 32 ounces of water in the hour before training. The measurement markings let you fill to that exact amount so you start every session properly hydrated.
How does this compare to a smart water bottle that tracks intake?
Smart bottles sync to apps and remind you to drink, but they are usually smaller and require charging. This bottle uses simple printed markings, holds more water, and never needs a battery.
Is it better than a glass water bottle for daily wellness?
Glass bottles feel clean but are heavy and fragile. The Under Armour jug is lightweight, shatter-resistant, and insulated, which makes it more practical for everyday wellness routines.
I'm worried it might be too big to keep on my desk. Is it?
At 64oz, it is larger than a desk bottle, but many people keep it within arm's reach on the floor or a side table so they can sip throughout the workday without refilling.
Can I flavor my water with fruit or supplements in this bottle?
Yes. The wide mouth makes it easy to add lemon slices, cucumber, ice, or electrolyte powders. The plastic and stainless steel build is food-safe and easy to rinse clean after use.
Will the bottle encourage me to drink more during long workdays?
Having a full 64 ounces visible on your desk or table is a strong visual cue, and most users find they drink more simply because the water is right there and cold.
Is it suitable for a home wellness routine, not just the gym?
Yes. Many people use it during morning routines, work-from-home days, and evening wind-downs to keep their hydration consistent regardless of where they are.
How do I clean it to keep my wellness routine hygienic?
The lid is dishwasher-safe and the body can be hand-washed with warm soapy water. The self-draining cap design helps prevent puddles and residue after washing.
I'm worried about plastic tasting. Does it affect water flavor?
The bottle is made from BPA-free and lead-free materials and is designed not to impart flavor, so your water tastes clean whether it is plain, flavored, or infused.
Can I track multiple fills through the day using the markings?
Yes. Because the markings measure from 0 to 64 ounces, you can refill and reset your tracking each time, making it easy to monitor total daily intake.
Is it a good fit for a mindful hydration practice?
Many wellness routines include pausing to drink water mindfully. The measurement markings turn each sip into a small, trackable moment of self-care.
How do I clean this Under Armour water bottle?
The lid is dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning. The body should be hand-washed with warm soapy water and a bottle brush. The self-draining cap design helps prevent puddles and residue after washing.
How long does the insulation keep drinks cold?
The double-wall foam insulation is designed to keep drinks cold for up to 10 hours under normal use, which is enough for a full tournament, gym session, or outdoor day.
Can I put ice cubes inside the bottle?
Yes. The wide mouth is sized to fit standard ice cubes, so you can fill it with ice and water in the morning and still have cold water at the end of the day.
Does this bottle fit in a standard car cup holder?
At 64oz, this is a half gallon jug and is larger than most car cup holders. It is designed to sit on the floor of the car, in a side compartment, or hang from the fence hook instead.
Is the bottle compatible with standard water filters?
The wide mouth is compatible with most standard backcountry water filters, so you can fill directly from a stream or refill station when you are outdoors.
What is included in the box?
The box includes the 64oz Under Armour insulated water bottle with attached lid, integrated fence hook, carry handle, and side grip. No additional accessories are required to start using it.
Is the bottle safe to use every day?
Yes. The bottle is made from BPA-free and lead-free plastic and stainless steel, so it is safe for daily hydration for adults, teens, and kids in active use.
Will the color or printed markings wear off over time?
Hand-washing the body and avoiding abrasive scrubbers will help preserve the color finish and the printed ounce and milliliter measurement markings over time.
What is the difference between an insulated water bottle and a regular water bottle?
A regular water bottle holds liquid at whatever temperature the environment provides. An insulated bottle uses a double-wall construction to slow heat transfer, keeping cold drinks cold for hours and reducing condensation on the outside.
