Frequently Asked Questions
Is the silicone material safe for my toddler to squeeze and chew on?
The mochi squishies are made of soft, stretchy silicone that is safe for squeezing and stretching, though they are recommended for children ages 3 and up and are not intended as a teething toy.
Are there any small parts or choking hazards I should worry about?
Each squishy is a single solid piece with no detachable parts, but as with any small toy, adult supervision is recommended for children under 3.
Will the colors stain my child's hands or the playroom carpet?
No, the silicone material does not leave residue, and the easy-to-clean surface can be wiped with a damp cloth if it ever gets dirty.
Can my child wash it after it gets dropped on the floor?
Yes, simply rinse it under warm water or wipe with a damp cloth and let it air dry for hygienic, repeated long-term use.
Is this quiet enough for quiet time or nap time play?
The squishies make little to no noise when squeezed, so they are ideal for nap time, car rides, and classroom settings where quiet play is required.
Is this a good toy for a nursery or daycare environment?
Yes, the soft silicone, compact 1-2 inch size, and easy-to-clean surface make it well-suited for shared nursery and daycare play spaces.
Will my child actually play with this or lose interest quickly?
The random 25 unique designs create surprise and collectibility, and the satisfying tactile feedback keeps kids engaged in squeezing, stretching, and trading for weeks.
Is this appropriate for both my 5-year-old and my 9-year-old?
Yes, the cute kawaii aesthetic and fidget-friendly texture appeal to a wide age range, from preschool through upper elementary.
Is this safer than a stuffed animal with small button eyes?
Yes, the mochi squishies have no hard components, no small parts, and no loose accessories, making them a safer choice for younger children.
How does this compare to a traditional stress ball for kids?
Unlike plain stress balls, these feature cute animal and fruit designs, come in random collectible varieties, and are individually wrapped for hygienic sharing.
Is this better than plastic fidget spinners for my child?
Moisture-resistant, quieter, and free of moving parts that can break, silicone squishies tend to outlast plastic spinners and won't snap into small pieces.
I'm worried about the silicone smell. Does it have a strong chemical odor?
The squishies are made from soft silicone with no strong chemical scent, and any faint packaging smell dissipates quickly after opening.
What if my child has sensitive skin or allergies?
The smooth silicone surface is hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin, with no coatings or dyes that typically cause reactions.
Could my child choke on it if it tears?
The silicone is highly durable and stretchy, designed not to tear under normal squeezing and stretching, so the risk of breaking into small pieces is very low.
How do I clean the mochi squishies if they get sticky or dirty?
Simply rinse them under warm water with a mild soap, or wipe them down with a damp cloth, and let them air dry. The silicone surface dries quickly and is ready to use again.
How should I store them so they don't get lost or damaged?
Since each piece is individually wrapped, you can keep them in the original packaging in a drawer, bin, or storage tote until you're ready to distribute them.
Can I mix and match the 25 pack and 100 pack for a bigger event?
Yes, you can order multiple packs of any size and combine them. The random designs vary with every pack, so mixing sizes actually increases the variety of animals and fruits you receive.
Are these compatible with small goodie bags and standard treat bag sizes?
Yes, the compact 1-2 inch size fits easily into standard 4x6 inch and larger goodie bags, party favor bags, Easter baskets, and Halloween treat sacks.
Will the silicone material react with candy if I include both in a favor bag?
No, the silicone is non-reactive and food-safe in composition, so combining them with wrapped candy or small snacks in the same bag is perfectly fine.
What exactly comes in the box when I order a pack?
You will receive one sealed pack containing the quantity you ordered (25, 100, or 200) of randomly assorted mochi squishies in mixed animal and fruit designs, each individually wrapped and ready to distribute.
Is this product safe and durable for long-term repeated use?
Yes, the soft stretchy silicone is designed to withstand repeated squeezing, stretching, and washing without tearing or losing shape, making it suitable for months of play.
What should I do if a piece arrives damaged or missing from the count?
Reach out to JOYIN customer support with your order number and a photo, and they will happily send a replacement or refund for any defective or missing pieces.
What's the difference between mochi squishies and other squishy toys on the market?
Mochi squishies are made of soft stretchy silicone rather than PU foam, which means they are more durable, easier to clean, longer-lasting, and do not crumble or lose shape the way foam squishies often do.
